Ted is interviewed by his former student and NAA member Chris Knowlton. Appropriately for the Academy, Ted has both a Canadian and Unites States background. He recounts his coping with recurrent tuberculosis in the early years of his professional life, his experience as an educator, and his years as a television judge on the programs Traffic Court and Day in Court. He described some of his “outlier” philosophies and practices as an arbitrator, and how he came to be the founding editor of the Chronicle.
