Results of the Committee’s survey of Academy members admitted between 1970 and 1975. This survey covers personal statistics, previous career background, and reasons for current “acceptability”. Included are narrative replies from the 50 respondents. This was a 50 per cent response of the 100 members admitted in this interval. Also reviewed are ongoing developments in three formal training programs — University of Michigan (for GE-IUE); Rutgers University; and USLA.
