An explanation of why baby boomers currently comprise the majority of the unionized workforce, and will continue to during the next decade. The author predicts increasing emphasis on health care benefits, FMLA usage, a decline in discipline for misconduct, technology training concerns and intergenerational conflict. Diversity is also discussed.
